The 5K trail course features gradual climbs and pleasant downhill runs, - ideal for any novice or expert outdoor runner who enjoys the effortless blending of off-road terrain, and the glory of the outdoors. Race, run, or go at your own pace.

All proceeds from the event will go towards the Central Cross Country Ski Association (a 501(c)3 not for profit organization) to support opportunities for talented athletes to pursue athletic excellence in the Winter Olympic Games.


PARTICIPANT PERKS

All pre-registered runners and walkers will receive: event T-Shirt (for anyone registered by June 30th; not guaranteed after this date); complimentary refreshments at the start and finish; raffle ticket.

 

rules and regulations

The following rules and regulations must be followed by all participants:

  1. -obey race officials; yield to emergency personnel and vehicles;

  2. -running strollers/wagons allowed in the WALK ONLY

  3. -runners must stay on designated course, failing to do so will result in an unrecorded time


Results and awards

Results will be posted on the website the evening of the race day.

Individuals are awarded in the 5K Trail Run as follows:

  1. -top man and top woman finishers overall

  2. -top 3 men and women in the following age groups:

14 and under, 15-18, 19-29, 30-39, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+

Directions from nearest town/intersection:

  1. -10 miles north of Hayward off of HWY 63 in Downtown Seeley

  2. -Registration and participant BIB pick-up at the Sawmill Saloon

  3. -Trail run begins and finishes at Vortanz Lumber Inc., located at “OO” Road.
